The Reservist - Amanda
My second case study reservist photo film . This one was commissioned by the BBC online picture desk as part of their Remembrance Day media offensive and part funded by SaBRE. Amanda Wheeler a PR executive and sergeant in the TA, describes her seventh month tour of duty in Afghanistan with her regiment the Honourable Artillery Company [ Finsbury Barracks] . She reflects on the experience and how she has settled back into her London life following from it. I interviewed Amanda and then interwove what she said with her own pictures, a small selection from the Press Association and my own of her at work.
