The Reservist - Claire
A photo film commissioned by SaBRE for their website and as a piece of editorial for use by other media . SaBRE look after the PR and communications for the MOD on the reservists - that is those members of the TA, airforce and navy who have full time jobs but might also see a period of active service in the armed forces. Adopting a case study approach, the film is meant to emphasise for employers the potential benefits that can come from employing a reservist and for the employee the rewarding experiences on offer. Only those images of Claire and her employer Mike Brewer taken at her office were by myself, the others were sourced from her. I also interviewed the both of them and then produced the piece drawing on a selection of all these materials.
Thankfully, SaBRE were delighted with the finished photo film and had this to say….
" SaBRE commissioned Nick to produce this audio slideshow to highlight the value of the training that Reservists receive and the value it brings to employers and the workplace. We found the format of the audio slideshow, and the expertise of the editing, created a much more powerful message to our audience than video and told the story in an extremely interesting and engaging way. We have plans to continue working with Nick to produce these in the future as they are such an innovative way to get our message across to our audiences. "
